Feature Brand of the Month: Outdoor Voices
Outdoor voices just recently joined our shop’s little family here at Sacred Tusk. It was love at first sight after seeing the magical mix of pretty pastels and simple, to the point, design. The clothes are original and functional yet unassuming. Being a lover of a good neutral palette myself, whether that`s in my activewear, street style or even house décor, I just knew I had to get in touch with Outdoor Voices. They aligned with my personal style so well.
A few things you should know about Outdoor Voices if you are looking to invest in something you’ve seen us feature in our store! Their catch phrase originated as “doing things is better than not doing things” which has now been whittled down to “doing things”. This one is self-explanatory and I think it’s safe to say we can all agree with this. You don’t need to be a professional athlete to wear activewear nor do you need to be involved in a competitive sport. OV Founder, Tyler Haney, talked to Racked Online about how she wants the brand to reflect a more recreational lifestyle rather than competitive one as most activewear brands have done in the past, including Nike and Under Armour.

One of their ambassadors is the Man Repeller AKA Leandra Medine. If you follow a lot of fashion blogs on social media, the name might sound familiar. She is an entertaining fashion blogger who has created a humorous brand in the fashion industry. Um, hello.. just take a look at her photo below. You can instantly tell, she must be hilarious.
